It’s Canada Day so we have some special options for you. Wear your Canada colours proudly.
Saturday (Two and a half options)
(Early ride 7am) leaving from Chain Reaction for a 150km ride to celebrate the sesquicentennial. RTD will be leading this ride to pad his mileage. There’ll be the usual shorter option too.
Coffee Ride 8am from Humbertown to O-Town (Oakville). You know who else has a red and white flag? Denmark… so a visit to the Danish Pastry House seems fitting.
Sunday at 8am will be a Get Outta Town ride starting in Kleinberg at the Public school. Good chance there’ll be bakery stop.
Monday 6:40 am at Sanremo, 7:00 am at Humbertown
Route: Canada 150. 150 km. To celebrate Canada’s 150th we’re riding 150km. The turnaround point for this ride is Tailwinds B&B, operated by VCC alumnus Trevor Crystal! Plan on 6 hours for this one. (And we’re partnering with Etobicoke Cycling Club on this ride… We’ll likely have enough riders to split into two groups.)
For those not up for the full 150 km, here’s a 94 km option that goes out and finishes the same as the 150. It’s just missing 56 km in the middle!.
Bring a $5 buck to cover Trevor’s cost for snack etc…
Also, let us know if you are doing the PWC Epic Tour of Halton this fall. http://epictour.ca/ Early Bird deadline is this Friday.
Happy Canada Day Weekend?
